Earth Ranch is a food manufacturer specializing in innovative product development from idea to finished product, with a particular focus in creating clean-label snacks. Working with the company founder, we have been developing a brand strategy and visuals informed by that strategy.

Brand Story & Logo Design

Coming from nearly two decades of food manufacturing experience, the founder wanted to focus on a new approach to product development that focused on creating delicious plant-based food that everyone could enjoy.  

For Earth Ranch’s logo, I focused on designs that played on the motifs associated with western ranches. While in the process of creating logo iterations, the founder described wanting to tie in his personal roots of growing up around the beautiful landscapes of Colorado’s ranches and farms. This is what helped not only lead to the final design and directing a lot of the visuals for digital and print assets, but brand story that authentically represented the company’s aspirations.

Private Labeling

Though the Earth Ranch brand predominantly acts as an umbrella for other brands within the company, there was also a need to create packaging for private labeling and sampling needs.

Pulling colors and fonts from the logo, the private label packaging uses food imagery and a color band to help segment product and flavors options.
